Susan has over 15 years of experience working as an immigration paralegal. She oversees production caseload and processes at SLF. She has developed expertise in a broad range of nonimmigrant and immigrant employment-based visas, as well as family-based processes. She currently works on both nonimmigrant and immigrant employment-based visas for our business clients, which include H-1B professional workers, L-1 intra-company transferees, TN applicants, consular visa processing, I-140 immigrant petitions, and adjustment of status and immigrant visa processing. Susan also provides services to family-based clients to include Family-based Permanent Residency, U.S. Citizenship, and U.S. waiver application cases.
Susan’s interest in global issues and U.S. immigration started in her teens when she lived abroad for a short period and decided she wanted to continue to learn about the people and cultures of the world. Susan graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a minor in History. In addition to an interest in international issues, the enjoyment of meeting new people and helping them to achieve their personal and professional goals is what first led her to work in this field, and what continues to bring her personal and professional satisfaction today. She brings a strong work ethic, high attention to detail and a genuine concern for our clients.
